i believe that when we die our bodies go into the earth and help bring nutrients to the soil where we are buried or where our ashes lie, helping plants grow and therefore helping animals live which in turn helps humans survive. so in this way there is life after death, as to what happens to our spirit or soul i am yet to discover for myself.

there certainly is no way to prove it, and believing someone who writes a book about how he died and came back and believing it is naive in my view. i've heard quite a few of these stories of dying for a bit and coming back, and none of them seem to be very similar, except of course for that bright light stuff. now they can't ALL be telling the honest truth now can they? i think that their is probably some form of life or consciousness after death. from what i've read about dreams is that you really only remember dreams when you are close to waking up, meaning basically if you don't wake up, then you wouldn't remember the dream. (i don't think i did justice to whatever i read with that statement) so in my view i believe that there has to be something, because if we simply cease to exist than it is as if we never existed in the first place, since we won't be able to remember it if there is nothing, then there really was nothing.i think that our existence in the present rather proves the existence of some form of another life, or rather continuation of consciousness. perhaps all that we go through right now is simply a memory. but to be sure, i have no friggin idea to stand solidly on. all religions are based on hearsay, and there is no way to prove that their promises are real

i am personally a Christian and so I believe we go to Heaven or Hell. But God doesn't weigh our sins against the good things we do. Ever read that book about that guy who had died for 30 minutes and saw God? That's where I am going:) ask me about Christianity i love to answer peoples questions. :D
