There is so much music in the world, but all of it gives you different feelings. What music really makes you so incredibly happy that you could cry? What music amazes you so much it makes your heart feel like it's about to burst? Give 5 or 10 artists or song titles.

Most Radiohead songs make me appreciate life but some of them make me sing along in dance, one of the greatest examples is "There There"

Feist makes me happy especially the video for my moon my man which i am going to watch immediately i stop this ! Bjork is a joy...Venus as a boy. Sufjan Stevens ...I especially like the music for little miss sunshine. Arvo Part ...Tabula rasa...every time. Joni Mitchell...Don Juans Reckless Daughter...just got to dance! Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, Arcade Fire, Laura Nyro...... it's all great stuff and loads more.

All Mushroom Jazz albums (DJ Mark Farina) get me dancing immediately. And dancing makes me extremely happy. Can't pick and choose tracks from them... need the whole experience. I think Vol. 3 is the favourite most days, but they're all dang good, imo. Kirtan makes me happy, in that incense-burning, hippy-dippy, yogini, God-within sort of way (KD's 'Heart of Soul' currently gets my harmonium vibrating). Mozart makes me happy in that awe-inspiring sort of way (Requiem beautifully scares the hell out of me, who ever is preforming it... boys choirs do this especially well, tho). Mulit-layered love ballads make me happy in that sigh ooey-gooey blushy wow-this-was-written-just-for-me sort of way.

Death Cab for Cutie Matt and Kim (how can you not bounce around to "Daylight?") Ingrid Michaelson Regina Spektor Stevie Wonder Etta James (esp. "Sunday Kind of Love"!) The Beatles (obviously) Feist Stars Broken Social Scene (sigh) Nothing can make you feel anything as immediately as music can. It's instantaneous. Yet, it's lasting.

Led Zeppelin Deep Purple Jimi Hendrix Guns N' Roses Rolling Stones Aerosmith Dio Black Sabbath Albert King UFO There are so many. But it also depends highly on the mood.
