I like doing yoga after a hard workout. It helps me breathe and clear my thoughts before returning to the real world.

It makes me giggle because people keep referring to the spiritual part of yoga as hocus pocus. Zamfir, i believe you started a trend. Spirituality in yoga is what you make it. I believe in God and Jesus Christ. Meditation is not a form of prayer to another god or gods. And not all Yogi's or Yogini's believe in God. It's ones own personal choice. Meditation is simply a way to relax. Much like a massage, or nap. In hatha it is focusing on your breathing flowing in and out, and closing the mind to all things. Finding peace. Not hocus-pocus.

I've been using a prenatal yoga DVD the past several months. It's been good for my changing body and hopefully I'll have an easy delivery and throw some of the credit in it's direction. There's very little of the hocus pocus stuff on this particular DVD. I think there's one reference to the heart essence (whatever that is) and I can't recall anything else.

it's got some truth in it's core, but what kind of hocus- pocus stuff (thanks zamfir) is sold as yoga today... i don't know... doesn't feel like anything real or useful any more.
