If the love of your life was being sent to a deserted island, what three things would you send with them?

The question that's always asked is "What would you take with you if you had to live the rest of your life out stranded on a deserted island?" However, the more difficult question would be in taking responsibility for somebody else in an attempt to save them from boredom, loneliness, etc. So the question stands: What three things would you send with them? (and let's try to realy think about it: no people, pets, cellphones... ie no outside world contact) Here are mine: 1. a letter that reminds him that I will always love him 2. his favourite book 3. a skechbook & bottle of ink

I would give him infinate amounts of water, as much water as possible so at least he has that; matches to start fires with, and I'd give him my box of polaroids that also has letters to him from me that I've never given to him.

Compass He'd probably go crazy from the lack of video games and would most likely end up using the idiot's guide as kindling for a fire, my tools would probably end up lost or broken because that's what happens now when he uses them, and he was never any good with directions so I don't know how much help the compass would be... but I can only hope he'd put all the clues togeather and realize that I want him to find his way home.

1. Giant flint rock 2. very sharp, over sized knife 3. Survival book for dummies ... she might have made it a week ... lol its rough in the wild....

1.a rose because that's the symbol of my love (I buy her at least a rose/month) 2.my heart 3.my soul BTW I've seen the movie in the picture superb,great story

1. A Dostoevsky novel - I don't think I could love someone who didn't like Dostoevsky ;) 2. A legal pad - Because I'd probably fall in love with a writer 3. A pen to A) Write on the legal pad, and B) Write notes on the Dostoevsky novel
