That picture is awsome... Very little can offend me, I love religious jokes as much as I love any other type of joke.

i don't have a problem with it either, but then again, some people just cross the lines, know what i mean? i mean, i'll get the joke, the ha-ha,-that's-totally-true, but there is that point of complete of offense in some other jokes where it's stupid. this comic, it's funny. i giggled.^.^ no harm done. :)

I dont have a problem with it, but I dont feel affiliated with any specific religion, except maybe buddhism, and I dont think they can be bothered with feeling offended. I think the hullabaloo that went on because of some scandinavian`s cartoon which led to burning a consulate and somebody dying is TOTALLY overdoing it. Death and buring are far far worse than some silly cartoon and it seems to me that some people lost sight of reality there. But this could bring up the question of offense altogether. People can become offended at the most inauspicious things - what is one man`s deeply-rooted problem might not touch another deeply at all. Where to draw the line? I think it is great to have compassion for another person`s fears. But there is a limit to compassion as well. I guess offense is due when somebody makes light of another`s suffering. I am sure there are other reasons to justify feeling offended. But I also think that it is a question of how sturdy we feel inside to "laugh it off". Humor is so good for that purpose, sometimes.

on the one hand, there's a question of taste. On the other, humour can be used as a form of criticism or commentary on religion, and i think that that is a good thing. there is a kind of aversion to joking about religion in society, but it should be given the same consideration as any other topic worthy of criticism or commentary - politics, public figures and so on. it shows we are thinking critically about religion. Here's an example of one of my favourite forms of religious humour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UO6YlkYNJQ" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UO6YlkYNJQ

I have no emotional and certainly no intellectual investment in religion, so I'm not offended in the least. I do like jokes, and it's still a free country, though, so anybody got a joke to share?

Anyone who believes that we are made in the image of God would be pretty pompous to think we have a better sense of humor than his. If he can't take a joke, then where did we get it? I'd bet dollars to doughnuts he laughs his halo off at us on a daily basis. Good for him.

I suppose that religious humor is just like all other forms of humor. Usually anything that is actually funny is at the expense of someone or something that may find it offensive. So i guess what i'm saying is that all humor is offensive to some, but for everyone else its funny.
