Alien Encounter And Its Effects

If humans in the future encountered an intelligent alien species from another planet, would they still continue with their faith in the various religious text even if it would be ridiculously outdated? What would everyone do? What would YOU do? Would there be still people who cast doubt on the evolution of species? Would people still vehemently believe stories of miracles, prophecies and messiahs? Or would they just WARP what they believe to fit the latest trend?

Well I think i believe that there are many different species in another planets. Also we have different dimensions within our human dimension. I think for instance in the bible they tell you the basics but not really everything... if they were to tell us everything it would be very overwhelming. However, in the other side...(home with God, angels and our soul mates) we already know eveyrthing there's is not know.. but here on earth we learning the lessons we picked before we were born..

It would depend on what religion a person was. Some religions support the idea that there are other beings beyond Earth.

An encounter with an intelligent alien species would not necessarily have the results you have predicted. They could possibly come as ambassadors from their own religious faith, with a message which parallels the texts we know. Some of the things they might be able to do might indeed seem miraculous to us, and perhaps lead us to appreciate how people in earlier times thought they had witnessed miracles. And some people might view these aliens as a manifestation of a messiah.
