Have you ever wondered if the great minds of the world are hiding anything?

Such as time travel, has it been figured out? If the world knew about time travel it would certainly be chaos. What if they have found out many things, but decided against sharing the news because of the outcome. Call me crazy, but it doesn't seem too unreasonable to me.

They might be hiding evidence of extra-terrestrial visits. Maybe hiding cures for cancer. Interesting question!

Hmm, or is this more of an "Atlas Shrugged" scenario type question? If the "great" minds are hiding something, is it because they believe there will be chaos or because they don't want to give their ideas to a society that is not virtuous and is destroying itself?

Yeah...i mean...the U.S. government hid the development of the first stealth aircraft for years!! and if they came up with something as dangerous as time travel...why wouldnt they hide it from the public? but just because there is motive doesnt mean that they did it! conspiracy theorists use that excuse all the time...just because i would love to steal the last cookie doesnt mean that i did. off subject but i used this EXACT same picture on one of my notes on facebook lol....eery

Absolutely. I'll sound like a nutcase if I start listing them, but I would say pick your favorite conspiracy and spent a month online with the loonies and you might be surprised with what you find. I know I have been,

I agree that the govt is in the interest of hiding military advancements (and have) and that we'll only learn of them when they're obsolete but independent scientists aren't hiding discoveries, certainly not for-sure Nobel winners =]

it seems reasonable that they would keep things quiet..... stealth bombers, another example=proof of prolonged secrecy.. no telling what there hiding today... I guess we'll find out in 50 years.
