Is a simple life worth living?

The question popped into my head thursday night. I thought a lot about my life, about my friends and about what went wrong recently. The list was simply enormous. And of course, this lead to the only logically resulting question: why is everything so difficult? Everything i try to accomplish seems to be blocked by some obstacle. Where did i go wrong? Have i completely lost it? And then, once again i started to think about these obstacles. if life was just running on forward, would it even be interesting? Everything just came easy, if luck just kept flying to you on and on, wouldn't it lose it's entire meaning? Is a simple life, without any differences or obstacles, even worth living it? I found the answer was no, i would prefer a life where i have to do something, but some people just seem to get a bigger package of tests than others. That of course leads to the question why again, but right now, i wanna focus on the original question. What do you think?
