Who do you think will be more excited for this movie...little kids or adults?
On October 16, Where The Wild Things Are comes to theaters. I am so excited that I can hardly contain myself. I am a little obsessed and even doing a countdown. (We're down to 105 days if you care.) My neices and nephew, on the other hand, really could care less. In fact, they have no idea what I am even talking about. When I found this out, it got me wondering who they were making this movie for. The fact that Spike Jonze made this movie and that they used an Arcade Fire song for the trailer, makes me kind of think that they made this movie for adults in their early 30's and late 20's. Statistically, was the book was the most popular in the late 70's and early 80's. So it kind of adds up. Bu that's just my opinion. So who do you think will be more into this movie, kids or adults? Also, am I a total dork for being this excited for a movie based off a childrens' book? I think that this will be waaayyyy better than the 70's version.
