i do! when i was little and that movie "the mothman prophecy" came out of DVD, my parents decided to buy it. one friday night, when my brother was spending the night at his mate's house, my parents and i sat down to watch it...and it scared the HELL out of me. maybe because it was based on a true story? maybe because it was totally nuts? maybe both? i dunno. suffice it to say, i slept with my parents that night.

Oh! and after the exorcism of Emily Rose. Oh gosh. I prayed for a long time. And every noise in my house was, of course, a demon (or 6) coming to strangle me.

One time, I watched the Ring. By myself. It was a stormy night and no one was home, during the movie, the cable went out, so that when I turned off the DVD player and switched to the TV, all I got was static...just like what happened in the movie, before the tape would play. A little creeped out, I turned off the TV as lightning struck OH, SO CLOSE, and then...I got a phone call...just...like...the movie... Needless to say, at the ripe old age of 16, I hid under my bed.

I remember years ago watching a movie where all these little dolls come to life and attack people, even one popping out of the toilet. For a long time after that, every time I had to go to the bathroom, I had to check before I sat down...lol

OK, that picture is the MOST SCARY thing I've seen. and I've seen a LOT. Thanks for the nightmares :Crying: And I can't count the number of crap that's happened to me after watching a scary movie, but I'm sure they were 900% my imagination. LOL.

I watched The Blair Witch Project when I was 10 or 11 with my cousins in Mississippi. We were at my Grandmother's house, which is in a very rural area. Across from her house there was a railroad track hidden by trees, but it's been turned into this nature trail thing now and if you walk on it long enough, it leads to my cousin's house. So after the movie, around 10 at night, we all decided to walk to my cousin's house. We were walking in the pitch dark with a small flashlight. Along the trail there are a couple of super old, abandoned houses that look like the one in BWP, so we were all a little freaked anyway. Then this huge ball of light appeared at the end the trail near my Grandmother's house and we all flipped. It kept getting closer minute by minute, and we actually started running, until we saw that it was one of our cousin's with a huge hunting flashlight. It's really funny to think about now, but we were all terrified. Haha.

I do not watch horror films. They have no place in my life, as I do not enjoy the adrenalin rush. I don't feel it is necessary to invite fear into my life. This may be a big reason why I sleep so well and never have nightmares.

I love watching scary movies!! I think I just like to be scared every once in a while. One night I was at my sister's house and we were watching Underworld - Rise of the Lycans. Not a terribly scary movie but the whole movie is dark. After the movie I was walking home down the back alley, and there were trees on either side of me. I was so freaking scared that a "Lycan" or "Vampire" was going to jump out from the trees and bite me! Lol, I ended up using my cell phone as a flash light. Lol.
