"the road less traveled"... is a relative phrase... so compared to my immediate environment.... the list is incredible... to start I don't have to go to court for anything I create: music, abstract paint, questions, opportunities, ect. I don't have to bum money to eat or sleep I pay my taxes I keep no friends I'm not a criminal I have mindful thoughts of life and spirituality and endless questions of meaning I'm buying a house I try I don't get bored I have a vehicle, bank acct., business, toys I'm honest I'm not promiscuous and on and on and on...... On the world view comparison... I guess... its not easy I'd say but., ... I'm a line walker, a high road traveler, sailing my own ship above the influence of judgment from others... endure the suffering through the magnetism of persecution for my differences, I don't need approval.. as good as it feels to have it, I still do what I think is right, even if its against the wind and current opinion of the masses...

I hope to stand out by not being unique but not standing out at all. That is, I think the most admirable way to live is to do what you believe and not make a big deal of it and tell everyone about how different and unique you are. The silent hero is the one with the greatest integrity.

I recently became a Bahai, despite the fact that my family doesn't really get it and it's not yet a "major" religion. I hope to be able to serve it well in the future, help humanity in general, and see it greatly expand and become a force for good.
