I think a grown-up is someone who has learned the true meaning of responsibility and can take care of themselves.

some grownups are boring, for sure. i think settling is fine, but not stagnating. when you lose your passion to learn and discover, that sucks. and it happens to too many people. but there are wonderful things about being an adult that only very special kids ever have- like, the strength to make decisions that benefit others and not just yourself. or, the knowledge and responsibility it takes to organize and carry out a truly epic adventure!

I got this answer from a dear frind. she once told me that "in order to keep your inner child alive, and in check, you have to be nurturing like a mother, and stern like a father" I go by that when looking for my outer grown up.

I think grown up means to be able to compromise, more rational thinking, more understanding to how other people feel not just yourself anymore. I think it's that kind of stuff, not giving up your imagination or what you think is fun
