Living in the Present

Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time—past and future—the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is. // Eckhart Tolle
As adults living in societies rooted in routines, schedules and deadlines, some find it difficult to stop and be present in what's going on right now. We miss out on what life truly is because we distract ourselves with what could have been or what we want it to be.
How many of us will reach the end of our conscious lives wishing we had had more time, when the reality was that we really had all the time in the world?
Post the three things that are most precious to you right now, at this very moment.
1. My heart is beating
2. Children are sleeping peacefully
3. There's a beautiful breeze outside
