Quickly - without thinking about it, type out an image of a new neighbor. Be as descriptive as possible. Really get down to the bare bones.

My own new neighbor is friendly, but not too friendly. She moved in with her family, has pets and likes to keep things tidy. While she tends to stay to herself, she is the first one to show up if another neighbor is in trouble. She probably works in a creative or technical field and enjoys baking and nature. @TeMorrow

My neighbor is amazing. She is brave beyond description. She can´t walk without crutches, polio affected her when little so now she has to depend on crutches and leg braces to get around, yet she is unstoppable. She is always in a good mood, gets up and out of her house every day to go live. She lives alone, which is amazing in itself. But is never lonely. Or at least I think so, she always shares her life enough that it is a life full of friends and love wherever she goes. She has lived in this house for 44 years now. I admire her and care for her. She reminds me to be grateful every day for the life and freedom I have. To never let myself be down about anything, because life is to be lived and enjoyed no matter what. I am thankful to have her as a neighbor. I remember once being burdened by her presence, probably because I thought she was going to be a pain to deal with due to her condition. I regret having those thoughts 2 years ago, but I am thankful that she has helped me see life in a different way.
I am happy to be her neighbor.

Real Hot & Cocky guy..His Wife just left him and i see why, he changes his girls like he changes his underwear..(Not that i know..i just assume..lol)

I see them only coming and going. They are not very friendly and never smile. I try to communicate but get only blank stares. I think they are vampires.

He lives at the end of my street. At sunset I see him sitting on his front lawn with a six pack of shiner bock. He looks at the sky a lot. He walks around the neighborhood by himself all the time listening to his ipod. Having only one arm, and from what I see, not too many people in his life, he seems to be very content with where he is and what he does with his days.

New neighbor(s) moved in across the street on Jan 17. I've never seen them but know they exist, the red truck pulls up to the garage, opens it and drives inside, door closes behind them. I was taking groceries out of the trunk tonight and felt a feeling of being watched, did a quick 360 of the area and stopped when I found at least 2 maybe 3 faces partially hidden but definitely peering through their curtins. It didn't make me uneasy, but it did really make me want help taking the groceries into the house.

I've never really met her. I'm new to her, really. I only see her when I'm in the driveway, and she's dwelling in front of the kitchen window. Often there is a small boy with her. She seems quite calm, almost peaceful in her movements. Like a still life? Her husband I've glimpsed, and he looked off-put by seeing me seeing him through the window. When she's in her backyard, she's working on something. She is purposful. When my family member's car was burglarized, she came outside, and didn't react in the extreme. Fully grounded.

I never leave my basement apartment so I'll have to rely on senses other than sight to describe my neighbours. Based on what I hear, my upstairs neighbour is a human-elephant hybrid who stomps around in high heels at all hours. She (I'm assuming because of the high heels) owns two cats the size of ponies who have a relay race at 3am sharp every day. I'm not sure what she cooks but I do know she enjoys it well done. The smoke detector tells me her meal is ready, and the stank that wafts downstairs tells me she is a garbage connoisseur.

My neighbor is a tiny, older (65-70?), super athletic Portuguese woman. She always wears workout clothes and shape-ups. She's like a female Jack Lalanne She's that super cliche busy body of a neighbor. Always has the gossip. She once told me that she can't seen in my windows from her house and I shouldn't ever be worried that she can. I can only assume that she can, indeed, she in my window since she just blurted that out without any prompting.

She is a nudist, and she makes brownies.

My New neighbour has frizzy metallic hair call everyone
'love' and begins each sentence with a sharp intake of fascinated breath. Sometimes she feels itchy but its not her fault. Her favourite colour is blue,... no yellow,... no apricot. And she says "bless your hands" instead of thankyou. She also collects my mail when I'm away and boasts that she knows me.

My new neighbor is rather reclusive, not at all unfriendly, just not very sociable all the same. they have a daughter however, that does enjoy playing with my little sister. The girl doesn't seem at all out of line with leads me to the assumption that they are good parents. They are into planes and have several ones that are operated by remote that they fly around in the air in the cul-de-sac. They are about 3 feet long and 3 feet of wing span, some have flashing neon lights attached around it so when it goes into the air at night it looks like an abnormal space craft. Their yard is nice, a little average but decent They keep a trailer out front for their dirt bikes so i assume they go out riding often. That's all I really know.

I have lived here 5 years and we had the same neighbors until a few months ago. The prior tenants were quiet and sweet women, one worked in non prof and the other a graphic designer. We had tea every so often. My new neighbor is a young male, has Elvis Costello style glasses, thin, wears the skinny jeans and converse sneakers. I think he is a grad student or Phd candidate at one of the colleges in the area. I live near Harvard, MIT and Tufts. But I don't really know as we have only spoken a few words. I hear him walking across the apt. (never heard the others) Every so often he has a group of friends over and they party all night. The only time it bothers me is when they are going up and down the stairs... very loud and very inconsiderate at 2 a.m. Now that I think of it, he can afford to live there by himself, which means he must either be making good money, or has a trust fund. I'm going with the trust fund, based solely on the information that his name is Hugh. Totally wrong to make that assumption based on the name! He seems like a nice enough guy, perhaps someday I'll get to know him. But I'm hoping to move to a more rural area soon where I can have space and more quiet. Hopefully near mountains and lakes and rivers and a yard for a dog! I miss having a dog.

What does that say about me? Not sure. I am a very friendly person and normally I would try to at least make sure we know each other so that we can watch out for each other in the building. But I think I am getting to old to care. I'm gonna find out more about him and report back. I am actually more intrigued now to see if my assumptions are accurate!

My neighbors son is 27 an alcoholic still living in his parents house. I go have cigs with him when i see him out smoking. Weve know eachother since I was born so its like talking to a cousin... a depressing cousin. He's dating a twenty yr old girl who gets made at him for drinking. he is such an awesome dude i had a crush on him for a while growing up and the other day he told me he's afraid to be alone

This is a good exercise. I haven't had any new neighbors in quite some time, wait no, I lied. However, they barely show their faces so I'm not too sure what to say. I like my privacy as well as the next person. Hell, I believe that's why most people move out here. But if you want my immediate observation of the man upon meeting him, I got weird vibes from him. I wouldn't trust him. He's a prison guard at a maximum security state penitentiary. What kind of person would want to do that? I would assume a sick one with a superiority complex. shrugs

Now what does that say about me? Hell... I don't know right now. Why don't you tell me.

Our new neighbors don't have kids. Or maybe they do, but they're away. The way the hold themselves, it would be hard to believe they had kids. They're happy together, well, at least they married for the fun of it. The man enjoys local beer with other man, and the wife gets headaches when she drinks wine, and loves it. You can assume that the man married the woman because they had some sort of spark that only they could understand, because she doesn't seem intelligent enough to make a conversation unless it's with another woman her age and social stature. The man doesn't work. He had a job once, but only for a little while, and he was very successful. Perhaps the woman agreed to marry the man because she had high expectations, and he fulfilled them. It is only selfish the way a seven year-old thinks only of their self. This is the last spot left they can settle down, because they need a home base to plan for their next expensive following their last expensive trip. My mother is envious of their aesthetics.

My new neighbors have several children, really meaing two or three, and two dogs. My grandmother, who I am now living with, employs their children to keep her yard mowed and cleared and I try at all cost to avoid them. Their dogs seem friendly but they are bigger than me and I can not help but be freaked out by them. They are white people, which isn't unusal for this neighborhood, and the children have very european names, I think one might be called Sven. The children are really the only people I ever see coming or going in or out of their house. I'm sure I have caught glimpses of of curly haired older woman, whom I assume is the mother, but I know that I have never seen the father. Their mostly quiet and their backyard is not fenced in, I find this strangely trusting and yet kind of reassuring. This description seems to say more about the fact that I observe them almost clincly. I didn't know I really knew that much about them. I seem more likely to notice the things that make me uncomfortalbe, like the children being in the yard all the time to take care of it and their incomprehensible names, than I really do about the people. I can't name eye color, hair color, or height, just the vague impressions they left me with and I that alone scares me. I've been living here for months, why haven't I noticed more about them?

We're the new ones here. The folks next door are nice, older than us, quiet, friendly. They have 7 dogs, two in the backyard and five inside. They've been in the neighborhood forever. They told us our house was the first built in the area, theirs is the second. They have three kids, now grown adults, and some grandchildren. They liked our little son and weren't fussed when he poked about and explored their livingroom.

I guess what this says about me is that we bothered to go next door and meet the neighbors.
