Dear future me,
I believe this letter and our life will make a lot more sense to you than it ever has to me.
As they say life only makes sense looking back at it. So since you are alive and reading this letter, I trust that what I am choosing right now is-was for the best. I trust that you are happy and that the things I have discovered about us helped you be happy. Congratulations on everything we have done! We have led a life some people only dare to dream of. I will keep having the courage to always follow our dreams so that you can read this letter with joy and look back at me in awe!

Congratulations on finding the courage to believe.

You deserve the life, you've always wanted. You made the decision, took the steps, didn't flinch in unbelief or run away, when the dream seemed impossibly big,and scary. The beutiful aquamarine waters gently lap at your toes just as you always wanted. Bliss surrounds you. It is right, this pure dream, you dreamed and created out of nothing. Joy floods your soul, flowing up like living waters, everyone near is splattered with joy drops. I'm so proud and happy for you.

Please send me your journal in the enclosed stamped self addressed envelope.

I look forward to learning how to be brave enough to believe.

Don't forget about the love and waves, man. That's all you need.

Dearest future me,
Please go with what makes you happy. Don't pick what gives you money, or the most success, but leads you to the place you want to go. Right now, I'm thinking that's photography, traveling a lot, writing, and some research. Don't let go of your athletic abilities. Do yoga. Run. Play soccer. It's what makes you happy. And that's what matters most.

Dear future me,

Remember to always look at my present (your past) with rose colored glasses. I know you like to dissect everything in the ol' memory box, but remember to take it easy on yourself occasionally.

I'm going to go, but I'm guessing you're reading/hearing/absorbing this message via whatever futuristic communications device you have now, so i look forward to getting that installed in my frontal lobe!

Dear future me,
When you do something, give it your all. Don't hold back, don't take the easy way out, and do commit 100%. There's always room for improvement so accept all criticism. Never stop doing what you love even if people don't fully agree with what you're doing. Speak out more! You have great ideas and sometimes have the right answers - so why hold it back? Never be afraid to show your true colors. Continue helping people, you're doing a great thing right now. Sure, it's not as fun as you hoped it would be but you're headed in the right direction. Know that there's people out there who are in worse situations than you so it's always nice to lend a hand. Stay more calm and try not to put too much in your plate. Always believe in yourself. Always speak out against what's wrong and do stand up for other people. And remember, you're never alone.
