TakePart Tuesdays: Are you what you eat?

You can tell a lot about someone by the way they read a menu: "I'll have a tossed greens salad, dressing on the side" says just as much as "Gimme the chicken and waffles with extra maple syrup and extra butter."
We all have our fleeting Food Inc. epiphanies, but are you consistently thinking about what you eat, how you eat it, where it comes from, and what it all of that gastronomy says about you?
Michelle Obama is. According to this awesome article over at SoulPancake's content partner TakePart, the First Lady is writing a book about the White House garden, first tilled in 2009 and producing vegetables and greens for Commander-in-Chief smorgasbords ever since. Obama will donate proceeds of the book to charity and hopes the effort will further promote her national initiatives regarding healthy eating options and alternative food sources for urban areas.
